Three awesome suggestions to enjoy Barcelona museums and galleries

From May 25th art and exhibit lovers and people you wouldn’t usually find in museums will have a thing in common: the David Bowie exhibit in Barcelona. The renowned British artist, creator of the Ziggy Stardust alter ego, has been and still is one of the most important music figures of the history.

Museum of Design (Museu del Disseny) in Barcelona will be the venue hosting this exposition, and you will have to get your advanced tickets, just like it used to happen with his concerts.

In fact, this display is a London production, created by the Victoria and Albert Museum, and has received more than a million and a half visitors in the eight cities where it has been located, according to Barcelona town hall data. It has been the most successful exhibit in the London Museum, and now it is Barcelona’s turn.

Album covers from the chameleonic artist, unpublished material from concerts, photographs, hand-written lyrics… David Bowie is is to enter into the artist’s universe and discover his secrets, to enjoy his disruptive look from a closer distance, his provocative manners, his sensitivity, and his diversity as an artist. She has created wonderful albums as DEBUT or POST, and that is what the exhibit is about. 90 minutes of programming and top-quality video artist, Michael Gondry, Alexander McQueen, Warren du Preez and Nick Thorton Jone. You have until September 24th to enjoy it. Available only with tickets purchased in advance.
